Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

TikTokCalc is committed to making our website accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we continually work to improve the experience for everyone.

Accessibility Features

We have implemented the following accessibility features across our website:

  • Semantic HTML: We use proper HTML5 semantic elements (nav, main, section, article, footer) to provide meaningful structure for screen readers and assistive technologies
  • Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements, including calculator inputs, buttons, and navigation menus, are accessible via keyboard
  • ARIA Labels: Interactive elements that lack visible text labels include ARIA attributes to convey their purpose to assistive technologies
  • Color Contrast: We maintain sufficient color contrast ratios between text and background elements to meet WCAG AA standards
  • Focus Indicators: Visible focus indicators are provided for keyboard users navigating through interactive elements
  • Responsive Design: Our website adapts to different screen sizes and supports text zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
  • Form Labels: All form inputs in our calculator and contact form include descriptive labels and helpful tooltips
  • Language Support: The site declares the correct language attribute on each page, and our language switcher allows users to select from 18 supported languages
  • Skip Navigation: Screen reader users can navigate directly to main content areas

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, there may be areas of the website that are not yet fully accessible. Known limitations include:

  • Some interactive data visualizations (earnings pyramid, factor charts) may not fully convey their content to screen readers. The same information is available in text form elsewhere on the page.
  • Dynamic calculator results are announced to screen readers, but the level of detail in live updates may vary by screen reader software.
  • Some third-party content (advertisements) may not meet our accessibility standards. We do not control the accessibility of third-party ad content.

Standards We Follow

Our target conformance level is WCAG 2.1 AA. This includes:

  • Perceivable: Information and interface components are presentable in ways users can perceive
  • Operable: Interface components and navigation are operable by all users
  • Understandable: Information and interface operation are understandable
  • Robust: Content is robust enough to be interpreted by assistive technologies

Feedback and Contact

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our website. If you encounter any accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us:

When reporting an accessibility issue, please include the page URL, a description of the problem, and the assistive technology you were using. We will make reasonable efforts to address reported issues promptly.
